From 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM on the 26th, a High-Class Classical Music Performance Will Be Held at Jungnangcheon Junghwa Sports Park
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) will hold a high-quality classical music concert, the "Jungnangcheon Autumn Music Festival," on the 26th at Junghwa Sports Park along Jungnangcheon Stream.
Junghwa Sports Park, where the autumn music festival will take place, was one of the venues for the Jungnang Seoul Rose Festival, which attracted 3.03 million visitors last May. The district organized the concert to provide residents with a cultural space to enjoy the ambiance of autumn evenings, timed with the blooming of autumn roses.
The concert will run for 2 hours and 30 minutes from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, featuring classical performances and invited singers. In the first part, soprano Lee Myung-hee will perform alongside tenors Kim Dong-won, Min Hyun-gi, and Lim Cheol-ho. Popular singer Shin Young will also perform popular songs.
The second part will feature tenor Lim Cheol-ho, known as "Jubarotti" (Gas Station Pavarotti), and singer Cho Young-nam.
The concert is designed to allow residents strolling along Jungnangcheon Stream to naturally participate and enjoy classical music in their daily lives. To break the stereotype that classical music can be difficult, familiar songs such as "On a Wonderful Day in October," "A Woman's Heart," and "Song of the Toast" have been selected to create a space where local residents can gather, communicate, enjoy, and share cultural sensibilities.
Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, "I hope everyone will enjoy the beautiful classical performances and feel the autumn atmosphere at Junghwa Sports Park, where autumn roses and yellow cosmos are in full bloom." He added, "We will continue to strive to prepare various cultural programs so that residents can experience more culture and arts in their daily lives."
