A story about a restaurant that serves free meals to homeless people has gained attention.

On the 22nd, a heartwarming story about a restaurant located in Dong-gu, Incheon, was posted on social media (SNS). The author, Mr. A, said, "A person living in a small one-room rented for 100,000 won near Jemulpo Station visited a noodle restaurant near Dongincheon Station for the first time," adding, "If they had transportation money and could take the subway, they wouldn't have needed to come here, so they must have walked a long way." He continued, "When I asked, 'How long did it take you to get here?' the guest replied, 'About thirty minutes,' and then I served the meal," explaining the situation at the time.

He said, "When the guest tried to leave after eating just one bowl, I told them, 'You need to eat one more bowl. You must be hungry, so you should eat more,'" and added, "Seeing them finish the second bowl cleanly brought tears to my eyes." He reflected, "Where did the courage come from to try to leave after eating only one bowl, even though they must have been very hungry?" and lamented, "Poor people have neither money nor power. They are not treated like people by others." However, he continued, "Poor people have warm body heat," and said, "Because of this warmth, living with the poor brings joy." He also added, "I do not fully understand how painful, uncomfortable, and unbearable it is to live in poverty and go hungry," but said, "I vaguely understand through the VIP guests of Dandelion Noodle House and the family of Dandelion's House."

The restaurant was confirmed to be a noodle house in Incheon that has practiced sharing with marginalized groups who cannot properly secure meals for 21 years. Since starting business in Dong-gu in 2003, it has served food to about 400 to 500 customers daily, helping neighbors in need. The main customers are homeless people without proper residences, and many visitors come not only from Incheon but also from Seoul and Gyeonggi. According to the owner's wishes, the restaurant does not receive support from the government or large corporations and operates solely on donations and goods given by individuals in goodwill.

Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as, "I am truly grateful for the warm-hearted owner's consideration," "You will be blessed for doing so many good deeds," and "If there is a donation account, I want to help."
