Gyeonggi-do Icheon City will hold the 'Second Half of the Year Icheon City Policy Proposal Contest' from the 24th of this month to the 6th of next month.
The themes of this contest are ▲ Administration for citizens' happy lives based on trust and confidence ▲ Creative idea projects for public stability and citizen happiness ▲ Support for newlyweds' happiness and childbirth through marriage and childbirth support ▲ Creating a happy child-rearing environment by alleviating childcare burdens and balancing work and family ▲ Attracting advanced businesses to foster future competitiveness and job creation ▲ Smart agriculture and low-carbon agriculture development to prepare for climate change ▲ Creating a community where everyone is happy without blind spots ▲ Discovering and supporting isolated and reclusive youth ▲ Other idea projects for city administration development.
Any Icheon citizen can participate in the proposal. Applications can be submitted via email or through the '2024 Second Half Icheon City Policy Proposal Contest' section under 'Participation in Thoughts - Collection of Thoughts' on the 'National Idea Box' platform.
Submitted ideas will be reviewed by the relevant departments and evaluated by the proposal review committee to select the Grand Prize (1 person, 1,000,000 KRW), Excellence Prize (2 persons, 500,000 KRW), Encouragement Prize (3 persons, 300,000 KRW), and Effort Prize (5 persons, 100,000 KRW). The winners will be announced on the Icheon City website in December.
