Chef An Seongjae, who appeared on the Netflix variety show 'Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War' (hereinafter 'Black and White Chef'), proved his immense popularity as his gourmet event sold out in just one minute.
According to Parnas Hotel on the 23rd, the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas will hold a gourmet event over two days on November 1-2 to celebrate its 35th anniversary. Reservations were accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via Kakao Reservation starting at 5 PM the previous day, and the event was fully booked in just 1 minute and 1 second.
The gourmet event attracted attention as An Seongjae, the chef of 'Mosoo,' the only Michelin 3-star restaurant in Korea and a judge on 'Black and White Chef,' participated. Chef An plans to present Mosoo's signature dishes that he personally prepared, along with a dinner course menu collaboratively created with the chef team of InterContinental Parnas. The price is 700,000 KRW per person.
Parnas Hotel plans to open additional reservations daily at 2 PM for any cancellations.

Meanwhile, there is also an opportunity to taste Chef An Seongjae's cuisine for 40,000 KRW.
Chef An Seongjae will also participate in a gourmet event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government next month, with ticket prices set at only 40,000 KRW per person. This news has already sparked intense reservation competition.
According to Seoul City, on November 3 at Banpo Sebitseom, a gourmet event will be held featuring Chef An Seongjae and chefs who previously worked at 'Mosoo.' This event was organized to commemorate the international gourmet festival 'Asia's 50 Best Restaurants' held in Seoul this March. At that time, Mosoo ranked 41st on the 'Asia's 50 Best Restaurants' list.
Under Chef An's supervision, participants include Triple Star (Chef Kang Seungwon) and One Two Three (Chef Bae Kyungjun), who appeared on 'Black and White Chef.' Chefs Jung Younghoon and Oh Jongil, both from Mosoo, will also participate.
The city will recruit 150 participants on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 2 PM on the 28th through the Catch Table application. Attendees will be able to enjoy four fine dining menus while overlooking the Han River view at Sebitseom. Tickets cost 40,000 KRW per person and will be operated in a standing-room-only format without seats.
