The advanced future technology festival, "2024 Digital Future Show," where various digital future technologies can be seen in one place, opened on the 23rd at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Ilsan, Goyang City.
Held over three days until the 25th, the "Digital Future Show" is an exhibition where visitors can experience cutting-edge technologies that will change our daily lives in the future society through immersive content across various fields.
At the opening speech, Kim Hyun-gon, Vice Governor for Economy of Gyeonggi Province, said, "It is very meaningful that Gyeonggi Province planned the '2024 Digital Future Show' during a time of tremendous change brought about by AI technology," and emphasized, "We will do our best to lead advanced future industries that can realize the value of innovation and opportunity through proactive and aggressive policy support."
This event is organized into zones such as the ‘LIFE ZONE,’ featuring smart life, AI edutech, robotics, and metaverse virtual reality (VR); the ‘SQUARE ZONE,’ composed of virtual studios, smart mobility, AI music plaza, and digital cafeteria; and the ‘PLAY ZONE,’ where visitors can experience virtual reality zones, extended reality (XR) media platforms, and XR game centers.
Through the AI edutech program, visitors can wear VR devices and experience disaster response simulations in the metaverse, which can be utilized for safety education. An unmanned resource recovery separation system that automatically sorts PET bottles and cans using artificial intelligence Internet of Things technology is also showcased. Additionally, various new technologies across different fields are available, such as AI music solutions that provide optimized music based on lifestyle patterns and emotional states and can compose four pieces of music in just two seconds.
Furthermore, leading companies in the industrial sector within the province are participating, and it is expected that economic effects will be generated through various business-to-business (B2B) activities such as export buyer consultations, buyer meetings, and conferences.
