Confirmation of Waste Collection, Transport, Storage, and Treatment from October 23 to November 30
Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 23rd that it will conduct inspections of waste disposal reporting businesses in the district to reduce the amount of waste generated and promote proper recycling treatment.
The inspections will be carried out from today until November 30, targeting a total of 11 waste disposal reporting businesses.
The main inspection items include △ proper collection, transportation, and storage of waste △ proper treatment of recyclable waste △ completion of legally mandated training for waste disposal personnel △ compliance with standards for treatment and storage facilities.
According to the inspection results, minor violations will be administratively guided to be corrected immediately on-site, while serious violations will be subject to administrative measures in accordance with relevant laws.
An official from the district stated, “Through this inspection, we aim to encourage voluntary facility improvements and strengthened management by waste disposal reporting businesses, prevent environmental pollution, and create a pleasant environment and a resource-circulating society.”
