HD Hyundai Marine Solutions Q3 Sales 461.3 Billion KRW, Operating Profit 83.4 Billion KRW... Operating Profit Up 66.1% YoY

HD Hyundai Marine Solutions, a comprehensive solution company in HD Hyundai's marine industry sector, announced on the 23rd that it recorded sales of 461.3 billion KRW, operating profit of 83.4 billion KRW, and an operating profit margin of 18.1% in the third quarter of this year. Compared to the same period last year, sales and operating profit increased by 28.6% and 66.1%, respectively.

By business segment, sales of the core business, the AM (After Market) business related to ship parts and services, led growth with a 36.0% increase compared to the same period last year. Sales from the eco-friendly retrofit business also contributed to the performance rise, increasing by 20.8% year-on-year.

The outlook remains positive. Supported by the recent increase in ship orders, the volume of new ship deliveries is expected to rise over the next 2 to 3 years, which is anticipated to significantly boost demand for ship maintenance and repair.

Additionally, with strengthened environmental regulations such as carbon and greenhouse gas emission reductions, demand for eco-friendly retrofits is expected to steadily increase, creating a favorable market environment for HD Hyundai Marine Solutions.
