Yangju-si, Agricultural Product Processing Basic Education Completion Ceremony

Yangju City held a basic agricultural product processing training completion ceremony on the 22nd at the Agricultural Technology Center's small conference room.

Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 23rd that it held a basic agricultural product processing education completion ceremony on the 22nd at the Agricultural Technology Center's small conference room.

This education program was organized to strengthen capabilities in the field of agricultural product processing and to revitalize processing startups using local agricultural products, with 20 participants. The training was conducted over a total of 20 hours in five sessions from September 24 to October 22 at the center's small conference room and small-scale local processing factories.

The trainees learned various topics including ▲acquisition of basic knowledge in agricultural product processing ▲understanding step-by-step processing procedures ▲customized marketing strategies aligned with consumer trends ▲sharing successful cases of startup farms ▲practical startup know-how.

Experienced instructors participated, systematically covering everything from the basics of agricultural product processing to practical knowledge necessary for actual startups, resulting in high satisfaction among trainees. It is expected to contribute to the revitalization of processing startups.

A city official stated, “The city plans to actively support the production and sale of processed products using Yangju agricultural products by constructing a new comprehensive agricultural product processing center and strengthening practical capabilities to build processing industry infrastructure.”
