The International Crown Organizing Committee announced on the 23rd that "the next tournament will take place from October 23 to 26, 2025, at New Korea Country Club in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province." The International Crown was established in 2014. It is a biennial women's golf team competition organized by the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour. Since 2023, it has been sponsored by Hanwha's financial affiliates under the joint brand ‘Lifeplus,’ and the official name is currently the ‘Hanwha Lifeplus International Crown.’

The International Crown was held in the United States in 2014 and 2016, then in 2018 it took place at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Songdo, Incheon. The 2020 tournament was canceled due to COVID-19, and it resumed last year in the United States.

Returning to South Korea for the first time in seven years since 2018, the International Crown features a total prize fund of $2 million (with $500,000 awarded to the winning team). The participating countries and players for next year’s tournament will be selected later based on the women's golf world rankings. The four-day event consists of rounds 1 to 3 played in fourball match play format, and the final round is conducted using a mixed format of singles match play and foursomes match play. Spain won the inaugural event in 2014, the United States in 2016, and South Korea in 2018. The defending champion is Thailand.
