The Seosan Office of Education in Chungnam held a training session on the 22nd for school authority protection officers from kindergartens, elementary, middle, and high schools, aimed at strengthening on-site response capabilities for 'protection of educational activities'.
This training consisted of a lecture focused on response procedures and prevention methods for incidents of teacher authority infringement occurring at schools, followed by a Q&A session.
By sharing numerous cases during the training, it is expected to not only enhance the schools' ability to respond on-site but also raise awareness of the importance of prevention.
In particular, the development team of the '2024 Teacher Authority Protection Manual' was invited to this training, providing high-quality education that was highly acclaimed for being very helpful to the school field.
Superintendent Sung Kidong said, "Incidents of teacher authority infringement continue to increase every year, so we must reduce these cases through preventive education and teacher authority protection committees at each school," adding, "We will do our best to make our schools a place where everyone can be happy."
