Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 23rd that it will hold a very special program at the Jeongok-ri Ruins area on the 26th as part of the 2024 Yeoncheon Yulmu Festival.
This program was planned to provide activities for families and acquaintances at the Yeoncheon Yulmu Festival, which gathers Yeoncheon’s agricultural specialties in one place.
The mobile-based treasure hunt program, combining the latest technology and cultural content, is operated by Unique Good Company Co., Ltd., which runs the sacred site for young people, Riwol World Seongsu. Through the Riwol World app, participants embark on a journey to find hidden treasures, following an entertaining story where Sambul Kim Won-ryong, the father of Korean archaeology and the first excavation team leader of the Jeongok-ri Ruins, gathers excavation team members.
Visitors can explore various spots around the Jeongok-ri Ruins, where the Yulmu Festival and Chrysanthemum Festival are held together, find hidden treasures, solve quizzes related to Yeoncheon, and enjoy rewards including Yeoncheon agricultural specialties and various other products. Additionally, the festival’s enjoyment will be enhanced by the MBCM live picnic performance [featuring Sunwoo Jung-a, Kim Yeon-ji (SeeYa), Jin-ho (Pentagon)] and a drone show that will beautifully illuminate the festival night.
A Yeoncheon-gun official stated, “Under the slogan ‘Tourism, Now Yeoncheon,’ we have prepared various programs incorporating recent tourism trends to create new tourism demand with new content,” and added, “We hope the Yulmu Festival and Chrysanthemum Festival will be enjoyable events where visitors of all generations can fully enjoy Yeoncheon’s autumn.”
