Former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump once again unleashed harsh criticism toward his rival, Vice President Kamala Harris.

On the 22nd (local time), Trump held a campaign rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, a southern battleground state, saying, "She (Harris) is sleeping. She took the day off today," and criticized, "She has no energy at all. She is lazy." He added, "There are only 14 days left until the election, but we are not resting," and claimed, "If we don't win, our country will be in big trouble."

This was interpreted as a remark pointing out that Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Harris did not campaign for voters that day. It was also a counterattack aware of Harris, who recently turned 60, launching an 'age risk' offensive by demanding Trump, who is 78, to submit his health checkup records.

Trump repeatedly hurled harsh insults at Vice President Harris, calling her "low intelligence" and "a radical left-wing lunatic unqualified to run for president." He also disparaged former President Barack Obama and former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney, who campaigned in support of Harris, calling them "idiots" and "complete losers."

On the same day, Trump said, "I heard today that she (Harris) is taking another day off tomorrow. What on earth is going on?" and added, "We might know some results that we don't know about. It's suspicious." Considering Trump's previous claims of 'election fraud' in the 2020 election, this laid the groundwork for raising suspicions once again. However, local media confirmed that contrary to Trump's claims, Vice President Harris gave interviews to NBC, the Spanish-language network Telemundo, and is scheduled to attend a CNN town hall meeting on the 23rd.

On the same day, Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Harris stated in an NBC interview that she is preparing for the possibility that Trump might declare victory before the vote count is complete. She criticized Trump for refusing to accept the election results after losing to President Joe Biden in the 2020 election, saying, "Donald Trump tried to overturn a free and fair election, continues to deny the will of the people, and incited mobs to attack the Capitol."

President Biden also claimed in a speech that Trump is a "real threat to democracy." During a visit to a party office, he said, "We've got to lock him up," which is one of the slogans chanted by supporters at Harris's rallies.

In response, the Trump campaign issued a statement saying, "Biden just admitted the truth. His and Kamala's plan was to politically persecute their opponent, Trump," and countered, "The Harris-Biden administration is the real threat to democracy." However, CNN noted that Vice President Harris has stopped supporters from chanting the slogan at several rallies, saying, "The courts will handle it. We will win in November." CNN also added that during the 2016 election, Trump used the phrase "Lock her up" directed at then-Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
