Expectations for Establishing an Asia-Pacific Circuit Tournament in Thailand
Robinswood Golf Club (GC), a prestigious golf course affiliated with Thailand's Rainwood Group, has joined the Asia Golf Leaders Forum (AGLF) as a new member to promote the development of women's golf in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to AGLF on the 22nd, Secretary General Park Paul recently met with Waraphanit Ruarlungluang, CEO of Rainwood Park Group, in Bangkok, Thailand, to sign the AGLF membership agreement. This marks the 11th corporate member of AGLF and the second member from Thailand following the Thailand Ladies Golf Association (TALGA).
Rainwood Group is a comprehensive investment company in Thailand. Its main business areas include consumer goods, hotels, residential real estate, golf courses, wellness centers, travel agencies, aviation, marine engineering, and finance. Currently, it is conducting the Rainwood Park project near Bangkok, Thailand.
With Robinswood GC joining AGLF, a foundation has been laid to establish the third Asia Pacific Circuit tournament in Thailand, following Indonesia and the Philippines. AGLF will host the Indonesia Ladies Open with the Indonesia Golf Association (IGA) in January next year, and the Philippines Ladies Masters tournament with the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT) in February.
AGLF was established in 2020 to promote the development of women's golf in the Asia-Pacific region. The founding members include Chairman Huh Kwang-soo (former President of the Korea Golf Association), Chairman Kim Sang-yeol (former President of KLPGA), Chairman Kim Jung-tae (former Chairman of Hana Financial Group, current KLPGA Chairman), and Chairman Park Eun-kwan (CEO of Simone Group). Corporate members include Sky72, Solago CC, Hoban Construction, Yeo-eun, Yuseong CC, Seolhaewon CC (all from Korea), Pondok Indah GC, KMK Group (both from Indonesia), Golfzon China (China), and Foscon Group (Philippines).
