Massage Chair Lineup Holds Over 80% Contract Share
"Continuing Efforts to Enhance Design Competitiveness"
Ceragem announced on the 22nd that its 'Pauze M6' received the main prize at Japan's 'Good Design Award 2024.'
The Good Design Award, hosted by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, evaluates various fields including general consumer goods, systems, services, and architecture, assessing design, usability, and innovation comprehensively.
Pauze is a line of compact massage chairs launched in 2020. Compared to existing massage chairs, it features a compact size and a sophisticated design that harmonizes with any indoor environment, offering both health management and interior benefits.
The Pauze M6 is Ceragem's first massage chair equipped with direct heating massage balls that reach up to 65 degrees Celsius. Its design emphasizes restraint and minimalism, making it a design object in itself. By eliminating a separate detached leg rest and designing a built-in footrest, it enhances space utilization.
The Pauze M6 has gained popularity, surpassing 1,500 units in contracts within two weeks of its launch and accounting for over 80% of Ceragem's massage chair lineup contract share.
A Ceragem representative stated, “We are very honored that this award globally recognizes Ceragem’s unique design philosophy and competitiveness in healthcare products. We will continue to strive to improve customers’ health and quality of life through innovative and high-quality products as well as design competitiveness.”
