Gyeonggi Yangju Fire Station (Chief Kang Deok-won) announced on the 22nd that it participated in the 'Child Abuse Prevention Relay Campaign' to prevent child abuse and promote a positive parenting culture based on mutual respect.
This campaign, organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Child Rights Protection Agency since May, aims to raise awareness about child abuse, ensure child rights, and spread positive parenting perceptions. It is currently being conducted nationwide.
Through participation in this campaign, Yangju Fire Station plans to continue efforts to raise awareness among local residents about child abuse issues and create a society where all children are respected and protected.
Chief Kang Deok-won said, "The future of our society, children, need everyone's attention to grow up safely and happily," adding, "We will strive to establish a proper parenting culture in every household."
Kang Deok-won of Yangju Fire Station participated in the campaign after being nominated by Park Chun-gil, Chief of Ilsan Fire Station, and nominated Moon Tae-woong, Chief of Uijeongbu Fire Station, and Hong Ui-seon, Chief of Yeoncheon Fire Station, as the next participants.
