Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, successfully concluded the ‘1 Night 2 Days Together Connection Camp’ held over the past weekend across Uljin-gun, including Gusan Camping Site, by matching a total of seven couples.

This event was organized by the county to provide opportunities for young people who have limited chances to meet the opposite sex due to busy daily lives. All 30 participants attended, and the event proceeded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Due to rain, the program was adjusted to indoor activities such as a couples bowling tournament and riding the Jukbyeon Coastal Sky Rail, prioritizing participants’ safety.
To reduce the burden of public matching, participants exchanged matching cards with preferred partners to express their feelings, and ample one-on-one matching talk time was provided to help participants get to know each other better.
Additionally, various experiences such as making eco-bags and healing pouches, couples bowling tournament, coastal sky rail rides, and a barbecue party were offered. As a result, in a satisfaction survey conducted after the event, 96% of participants chose ‘very satisfied.’
County Governor Son Byung-bok stated, “As one of the measures to overcome the crisis of local extinction, we plan to hold diverse meeting events for young men and women. We will also reflect requests raised in the participant satisfaction survey, such as ‘separating age groups,’ in future events. We hope the 2nd and 3rd meeting events scheduled for November will also conclude successfully.”
