Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Announces 19 Candidates for Grade 5 General Staff Promotion

17 Education Administration, 1 Facilities, 1 Engineering

The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education confirmed and announced 19 candidates for promotion to Grade 5 general civil servants on the 22nd.

The number of promotions this time includes 17 in educational administration, 1 in facilities, and 1 in engineering. The promotion candidates underwent a preliminary public verification process through the Office of Education's website.

The final selection was made by combining the competency evaluation through the document box technique and 1:2 role play (40%), performance evaluation of tasks carried out during the tenure in Grades 6 and 7 (20%), multi-faceted peer evaluation for more than 6 months of work (10%), and the promotion candidate list score (30%).

As a result of the evaluation, female candidates showed strong performance with 10 successful candidates, and the promotion candidates achieved uniformly excellent results in all assessments. In particular, the competency evaluation was analyzed to have played a key role in passing.

The promotion candidates are scheduled to complete the ‘Grade 5 Promotion Competency Enhancement Course’ at the Central Education Training Institute for four weeks from the 4th to the 29th of next month, and will be promoted next year.
