A local garden will be established in Cheonan, Chungnam.
The city announced on the 22nd that the local garden development project has passed the central investment review for local finance by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The local garden will be created on a 237,307-square-meter site in Daehong-ri, Seonghwan-eup, and will include themed gardens, a camping site, and a community center.
The city plans to proceed with administrative procedures such as land acquisition, detailed design, and permit consultations, aiming for completion in 2028.
Song Jaeyeol, head of the Parks and Greenery Project Headquarters, said, "With the creation of the local garden, we will spread garden culture within the city and help revitalize the local economy."
