Come to Soyosan in Dongducheon to See Chrysanthemums and Succulents

Dongducheon Agricultural Technology Information Center's Chrysanthemum Education Class and Succulent Love Research Association are preparing for the Chrysanthemum and Succulent Exhibition to be held from the 26th to the 28th.

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) Agricultural Technology Information Center Chrysanthemum Education Class (Representative Nam Mi-hee) and Succulent Love Research Association (President Park Hyang-sook) announced on the 21st that they will hold an exhibition for three days from the 26th to the 28th at the Soyosan Livestock Brand Meat Town Plaza.

This exhibition will showcase a total of about 300 pieces, including bonsai and large chrysanthemums grown and cultivated by 20 chrysanthemum trainees since spring, and succulent plant works by 14 members of the Succulent Love Research Association.

This chrysanthemum and succulent exhibition is expected to offer a special autumn experience to many hikers and visitors, with the beautiful autumn leaves and the fragrance of chrysanthemums harmonizing together.

Nam Mi-hee, representative of the chrysanthemum trainees, said, “Compared to previous chrysanthemum festivals, the scale of the exhibition is very small, but I am very pleased that it provides an opportunity to feel the autumn atmosphere through the members’ hard work and cultivation.”

Also, a city official stated, “We hope that tourists who come to see the beautiful autumn leaves of Soyosan will leave with good memories by enjoying the fragrance of chrysanthemums and the charming sights of succulent plants.”
