Hwagok 1·4-dong and Deungchon 2-dong Moa Town Contest Application Resident Briefing Session

Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) is accelerating the Moa Town project, which consolidates small-scale aging low-rise residential areas for redevelopment. On the 21st, the district held a 'Resident Briefing Session for Moa Town Site Application in Hwagok 1·4-dong and Deungchon 2-dong' at the Gomdallae Culture and Welfare Center in Hwagok-dong.
The briefing session was organized following the receipt of Moa Town site applications from five locations: 464, 812, and 815 Hwagok 4-dong, 574 Deungchon 2-dong, and 422 Hwagok 1-dong.
Reflecting the local residents' high expectations for the Moa Town project, about 300 residents filled the venue. The session provided detailed information on the Moa Housing and Moa Town system and the status of the application sites. After the briefing, the areas will undergo final selection by the Seoul City Moa Town Site Selection Committee.
District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon stated, “Since the residents’ wishes for the redevelopment of aging housing are reflected, we will proceed with the Moa Town project promptly without delay,” and added, “We will spare no administrative support to ensure the sites are finally selected as Moa Town areas.”
Currently, Gangseo-gu has a total of 10 sites selected for the Moa Town project, including Banghwa 2-dong and Gonghang-dong. Among these, seven sites have been designated and officially announced, accelerating the project implementation.
