Female Solo Singers' Hit Songs Receive Consecutive Awards

Music investment platform Musicow announced on the 21st that it plans to consecutively list two classic songs by female solo singers on its platform.

Previously, on the 17th, Musicow sold out 5,001 shares of Kim Minjong’s “Good Love” music revenue securities auction. Following that, it opened the auction for Yubin’s “Suknyeo” on the 18th, and plans to open the auction for Kwon Jinah’s “The Other Side of Goodbye” on the 25th.

Musicow opened a public subscription auction for 2,500 shares of music revenue securities based on the copyright of “Suknyeo” until the 24th. “Suknyeo” is Yubin’s solo debut song, a city pop genre track with a retro vibe. It was reappraised through a web variety show in 2021, resulting in annual copyright royalties 3 to 4 times higher from 2021 to 2023 compared to 2020, and it continues to be steadily loved by fans.

The auction starting price is 20,000 KRW, and the ceiling price is 26,000 KRW. If all shares are sold at the ceiling price, the auction may close early.

A Flower-like Ending OST_ Kwon Jin-ah 'The Other Side of Goodbye'

Starting on the 25th, the auction for Kwon Jinah’s “The Other Side of Goodbye” will take place. “The Other Side of Goodbye” is a song released as an OST for a web drama, gaining great sympathy with lyrics expressing emotions about parting, and it continues to receive steady love. Notably, in 2023, the annual copyright royalties increased by about 22% compared to the previous year, marking the highest royalties in the past three years, drawing attention.

The auction will be conducted for 2,500 shares of music revenue securities based on the copyright of “The Other Side of Goodbye,” with a starting price of 14,500 KRW and a ceiling price of 18,800 KRW. The auction closing date is October 31, and similarly, if all shares are sold at the ceiling price, the auction may close early.
