President Yoon Suk-yeol urged his aides on the morning of the 21st to "be thorough in managing prices during the kimchi-making season."
President Yoon made these remarks while presiding over a senior secretaries' meeting at the Yongsan Presidential Office that morning, according to a written briefing by Presidential Office spokesperson Jung Hye-jeon.
President Yoon stated, "Overall prices are stable, but the living costs felt by the public, such as kimchi-making ingredients, remain high," and ordered, "Thoroughly manage supply and demand conditions and focus on restoring weakened consumer sentiment."
