Handonghun and Lee Jaemyung Meet Again... Han Says, "I Will Gladly Agree for Livelihood Politics"

Responding to Representative Lee Jae-myung's Proposal
Second Time Following September 1st

Han Dong-hoon, leader of the People Power Party, and Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, will meet once again. This comes as Han responded positively to Lee's proposal.

On the 21st, Park Jeong-ha, chief secretary to Han, announced to the media, "Lee proposed a meeting to Han, and Han gladly agreed for the sake of public livelihood politics." Park added, "The two party leaders had previously promised during their last meeting to meet again," and "the specific schedule will be discussed later."

At the party's Supreme Council meeting that day, Lee said, "Leader Han, I hope your meeting today goes well, and if possible, I look forward to meeting with the opposition party leader as well." Referring to the scheduled meeting between President Yoon Seok-yeol and Han in the afternoon, he effectively proposed a second meeting with himself.

The two previously held their first meeting on September 1 and agreed on establishing a joint body to promote common public livelihood pledges.
