'Warm Hearts, Warm Meals' Delivery Ceremony Held
Hanam Branch of KEPCO MCS Co., Ltd. donated ramen worth 500,000 KRW for the local vulnerable groups' food support project "Warm Heart, Warm Meal" through the Hanam City Social Welfare Council on the 17th. KEPCO MCS Co., Ltd. Hanam Branch (Branch Manager Jo Ik-jeong) announced on the 21st that it delivered ramen worth 500,000 KRW for the food support project for vulnerable groups in the district, "Warm Heart, Warm Meal," through the Hanam City Social Welfare Council (Chairman Lee Jeom-bok) on the 17th.
The ramen was purchased with sponsorship funds raised through the Love Fund and the company's matching grant fund, and will be provided to recipients through the Hanam City Food Bank.
The chairman of the Hanam City Social Welfare Council, who participated in the delivery ceremony, expressed gratitude, saying, "It is even more meaningful that employees and the company have prepared funds together to support socially marginalized groups in the local community." In response, Branch Manager Jo Ik-jeong replied, "Although it is a small effort, we will continue to strive to deliver warm hearts to neighbors in need in the local community."
Along with the delivery ceremony, the two organizations pledged a business agreement to promote exchange and cooperation and the development of local welfare. The main contents of the agreement include ▲ discovering welfare blind spots and linking and supporting welfare services ▲ cooperation on projects to revitalize local welfare.
KEPCO MCS Co., Ltd. Hanam Branch, in addition to its core duties such as electricity meter reading, bill delivery, and delinquency management, has been continuously supporting marginalized groups through social welfare institutions by forming funds such as the Love Fund and Sympathy Fund and signing business agreements, in cooperation with the Hanam City Social Welfare Council for two consecutive years as part of efforts to realize social responsibility values.
