LG Uplus to Give Away Prada Backpacks via Lottery
SKT and KT to Offer Hotel Stay Vouchers as Prizes
The three mobile carriers are holding various events and promotions to celebrate the launch of Samsung Electronics' 10mm-class slim foldable phone, the 'Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (SE)'.
LG Uplus will hold various events starting at 9 a.m. on the 25th, the release date of the Galaxy Z Fold SE. First, from the 25th to the 15th of next month, the first 100 customers who purchase and activate this product on Uplus.com will be entered into a draw to win prizes such as ▲Prada backpack (1 person) ▲Rimowa suitcase (1 person) ▲Acne Studios wool scarf (98 people). Customers who purchase during the period will be automatically entered, and winners will be notified individually on December 13.
Purchasing customers can also receive various product discounts through the Samsung.com app, including ▲30% off Galaxy Buds3 Pro ▲20% off Galaxy Ring ▲30% off Galaxy Watch Ultra ▲20% off Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
Even applying for the pre-release notification qualifies for a prize. LG Uplus plans to give coffee coupons to 1,000 customers selected by lottery from those who apply for the pre-release notification via LG Uplus Uplus.com between the 21st and 25th.
KT is also running a launch notification promotion on its online purchase site, 'KT.com,' until the 24th. Customers who participate in the event will be entered into a draw to receive prizes such as a 50,000 KRW KT.com mobile gift certificate usable when purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold SE and 3,000 Naver Pay points. Among customers who apply for the launch notification and complete activation on KT.com, two will receive a two-person accommodation voucher at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel.
The first 300 customers to purchase will receive a one-year subscription to 'Samsung Care Plus,' which provides damage protection, and all customers will also receive a 'Samsung genuine 15W ultra-fast duo charger.' Samsung Care Plus allows repairs with only 30% of the repair cost paid in case of damage and includes on-site repair service. Among activated customers, 10 will be selected by lottery to receive a two-person weekend long brunch meal voucher at Andaz Hotel.
Customers who purchase through KT.com will also receive an additional 7% discount on monthly fees. This 7% KT.com discount is applied on top of the official subsidy and optional contract discount. However, this benefit applies only to 5G plans, excluding LTE and the online-only plan 'Yogo.'
SK Telecom will operate an 'In-stock Alarm' service on 'T Direct Shop' starting from the 21st. To commemorate the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold SE, SKT is holding an event where 30 customers who purchase the phone will be selected by lottery to receive a Shilla Hotel Executive Business Deluxe Room accommodation voucher.
This event can be entered through T Direct Shop from the 25th to the 8th of next month, and winners will be announced individually on the 27th of next month.
