Developing an AI Chatbot Service
to Manage the Learning Process
Eastsoft, a specialized company in artificial intelligence (AI) services, announced on the 21st that it has signed a contract with Hallym University to develop an 'AI education solution for course-specific problem generation, grading, and lecture support chatbot service.'
Hallym University is the first university selected for the Ministry of Education's 'Glocal University 30' project and is leading the establishment of an AI-based education platform to nurture creative convergence talents. The 'Glocal University 30' project is a policy initiative aimed at supporting the future transformation of universities. Selected universities will receive support worth 100 billion KRW over the next five years.
This contract was carried out as part of Hallym University's 'Glocal University 30' project. Eastsoft will develop an AI-based customized problem generation and automatic grading chatbot service to help create high-quality lectures and maximize students' learning efficiency in collaboration with Hallym University.
The educational AI chatbot service to be developed will generate syllabi and educational materials necessary for lectures based on professors' course lecture data. It will provide a comprehensive solution from exam question creation to grading, offering an environment that maximizes interaction between professors and students.
Both parties expect this project to bring effects such as ▲ increased efficiency in the learning process ▲ improved educational experience for professors and students ▲ strengthened personalized learning support ▲ enhanced competitiveness of university education ▲ and exploration of new possibilities in the global education market.
Sangwon Jeong, CEO of Eastsoft, said, "Following the successful demonstration of Hallym University's AI education solution proof of concept (PoC), we have now signed this contract.
