On Monday the 21st, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with morning temperatures similar to those on the 20th, remaining cold.

Morning temperatures across most regions will be around 10 degrees Celsius, with some inland areas of northern Gyeonggi and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province experiencing temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius. Winds will also blow somewhat strongly, making the perceived temperature even lower, so special attention should be paid to health management.

The nationwide minimum temperature is forecast to be between 5 and 17 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. Expected minimum and maximum temperatures in major cities are Seoul 10°C and 20°C, Incheon 12°C and 20°C, Daejeon 11°C and 20°C, Gwangju 12°C and 22°C, Daegu 12°C and 20°C, Busan 17°C and 24°C, and Ulsan 15°C and 22°C.

On the 21st, rain will occasionally fall in the southern regions and Jeju Island from the afternoon.

On Tuesday the 22nd, rain is expected nationwide. The forecasted rainfall amounts for the 21st to 22nd are: eastern Gyeonggi 10?50 mm, Seoul, Incheon, western Gyeonggi, and the West Sea 5 degrees 5?40 mm, Gangwon Province 10?50 mm, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk 10?50 mm, Gwangju and Jeonnam 20?60 mm (with more than 80 mm in the southern coast of Jeonnam), Jeonbuk 10?50 mm, Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo 20?60 mm (with more than 80 mm in the southern coast of Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam), and Jeju Island 30?80 mm (with more than 120 mm in some areas).

Strong wind warnings have been issued for the coastal areas of Gyeongnam Province until the afternoon of the 20th, and for Jeju Island until the morning of the 21st, with wind gusts expected to exceed 70 km/h (20 m/s). In other areas, winds with gusts around 55 km/h (15 m/s) are expected on the 20th. The Korea Meteorological Administration urges thorough management of outdoor installations such as signboards, vinyl greenhouses, and fallen fruit, as well as crops, to prevent damage from strong winds.

Meanwhile, from dawn to morning on the 21st, some inland areas may experience fog with visibility less than 1 km, so caution is advised for traffic safety.
