Special Employment Lecture by Director Namgeun Lee of Microsoft Korea and Job Support Program at ‘Seongdong-gu Hope Job Center’ for Unemployed Participants
Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jung Won-oh) announced that it will hold the "2024 Seongdong-gu-Seoul Employment and Labor Office Joint Job Fair" on the 25th to provide various employment opportunities for job seekers and to alleviate the recruitment difficulties of companies.
This job fair is hosted by Seongdong-gu and the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, co-organized by the Seoul Eastern Employment and Labor Office, Seoul 50 Plus Foundation, and MainBiz Association (Korea Management Innovation Small and Medium Business Association), with participation from 30 excellent companies located in Seongdong-gu and neighboring districts.
The recruitment interviews will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM at the 3rd-floor auditorium of Seongdong-gu Office. On the day of the event, job seekers can bring their resumes and self-introduction letters, register as job seekers, and have one-on-one on-site interviews with HR managers of their desired companies.

Additionally, information on Seongdong-gu’s job support programs such as the Seongdong-type Career Women Program, Companion Job Project, and Seongdong Workers’ Welfare Center operation will be provided, along with promotional booths from eight related organizations including the Seoul 50 Plus Foundation and MainBiz Association.
Furthermore, at the multipurpose hall of the Seongdong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center (10-53, Gosan-ja-ro 16-gil), a special lecture titled "A New World Opened by AI" will be given at 3 PM by Lee Nam-geun, Director of Microsoft Korea, to support and encourage job seekers to challenge new careers.
For job seekers who are not hired at the job fair, the "Seongdong-gu Hope Job Center" will provide personalized job information and job support programs through individual counseling.
