Drone Attack from Lebanon on Netanyahu's Residence... Part of the House Damaged but No Casualties

Prime Minister's Office: "Prime Minister and Spouse Not at Residence During Attack"

Amid reports that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed in an Israeli military attack on the 16th, local media including the Times of Israel reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence was targeted by a drone attack on the 19th (local time).

According to local media such as the Times of Israel on the 19th, the Prime Minister's Office issued a statement saying, "A drone attack from Lebanon targeted Prime Minister Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea, a coastal city north of Tel Aviv."


The Prime Minister's Office announced that Netanyahu and his wife were not at home during the airstrike and that there were no casualties from the attack.


Earlier, the Israeli military stated that three drones flew from Lebanon toward Israel in the early morning, and one of them struck a building in Caesarea.


Caesarea, a coastal city north of Tel Aviv, is where Prime Minister Netanyahu's residence is located, approximately 70 km from the Lebanese border.


Israeli media reported that the attack targeted Netanyahu's residence and that part of his house was damaged.
