Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Encourages Residents at Saeujeot Festival and Mapo-gu Citizens' Walking Contest

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, encouraged residents who participated in the "17th Mapo Naru Salted Shrimp Festival" second day’s first program, the "Mapo Residents Walking Contest," on the morning of the 19th.

About 2,000 residents joined the "Mapo Residents Walking Contest" to fully enjoy the autumn foliage.

Participants enjoyed walking from the Peace Square, where the Salted Shrimp Festival was held, to the Haneul Park trail.

Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo District said, "On the pleasant second day of the Salted Shrimp Festival with cool breeze and clear skies, I hope everyone feels the full charm of autumn while walking with family, friends, and loved ones," adding, "After the walking contest, I hope you continue to enjoy the various programs of the Salted Shrimp Festival and taste the high-quality salted shrimp."

The "17th Mapo Naru Salted Shrimp Festival" is being held at Peace Square in World Cup Park until October 20.
