Maxst Develops Integration System with Quest and Vision Pro

XR tech company Maxst announced that it has developed a system that enables remote collaboration for design reviews by linking with the latest XR devices such as the Quest 3S and Vision Pro.

Maxst’s XR remote collaboration system applies high-quality CAD model rendering technology, allowing users to view cars or machinery located far away through XR devices as if they were right in front of them. By utilizing Maxst’s spatial tracking features along with high-resolution displays, users can check detailed design elements more accurately, enhancing immersion.

The real-time collaboration features have also been significantly enhanced. Overcoming the limitations of physical distance, users from around the world can participate and communicate in real time, while also utilizing AR drawing and AR sticker functions provided by the system for effective collaboration. A digital twin-based operating system is provided to ensure smooth use by XR device users.

Maxst expects companies conducting business globally to effectively use the XR remote collaboration system. It can save enormous time and costs when conducting design reviews between domestic and overseas branches or export consultations with foreign buyers. Maxst also explained that the system has potential applications in various fields domestically, such as virtual test drives at automobile exhibitions or interior experiences of apartments for sale.

Maxst plans to target domestic companies aiming for growth in the global market. It is currently strengthening system demonstrations and sales targeting major conglomerates, and will publicly unveil the system for the first time to the public at the ‘2024 XR & Spatial Computing Expo’ held at COEX from the 22nd to the 25th.

The digital twin market, which reproduces real-world buildings or objects in digital space, is showing explosive growth. According to global market research firm Grand View Research, the global digital twin market size was $16.75 billion in 2023 and is expected to record a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 35.7% from 2024 to 2030.

Maxst’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Kyu-Sung Cho said, “Maxst’s XR remote collaboration system has the advantage of being operable without relying on specific devices,” and added, “It will have high utility in fields where visual elements are important, such as automotive, defense, and machinery design.”
