The political controversy continues day after day over who the "uri oppa" (our older brother) mentioned in the KakaoTalk conversation between Mrs. Kim Geon-hee and Myung Tae-kyun, the key figure in the suspicion of Mrs. Kim's interference in candidate nominations, actually refers to. Park Ji-won, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, sarcastically remarked, "This controversy has revealed that the Yoon Seok-yeol administration is not a 'prosecutor regime' but an 'oppa regime.'"

On the 18th, Park appeared on MBC Radio's "Kim Jong-bae's Focus" and said, "It has come out that Myung collected money from local government head candidates up to ten days before the presidential election to conduct opinion polls," adding, "Since these are unpublished surveys, they say it's okay, but candidate names have been revealed, yet the prosecution is doing nothing."

Regarding the KakaoTalk conversation between Mrs. Kim and Myung, he said, "From what I hear, it seems to be her biological older brother." Earlier, on the 15th, the Presidential Office explained that the "oppa" in the KakaoTalk conversation is not the president but Mrs. Kim's biological older brother. The KakaoTalk messages disclosed by Myung included Mrs. Kim's remarks such as, "Please forgive our oppa who speaks foolishly. When you're ignorant, that's how you are."

Park said, "I heard from Myung's side that it is indeed her biological older brother," and added, "Although 99% of the public perceives him as the president's older brother, according to the information I have, he is her biological older brother." He continued, "Prosecutor oppa, president oppa, biological oppa. Oppa regime," and pointed out, "Whether that oppa is the president's older brother or biological brother, it is a violation of election law and a serious problem."

On the same day, he also mocked, "Even Lee Soon-ja, who was so active, cannot hold a candle in front of Kim Geon-hee." Lee Soon-ja, the late former President Jeon Du-hwan's wife, was involved in various controversies due to her active external activities during Jeon’s tenure. He then declared, "Since the time of Dangun, there has never been a first lady like her in the presidential system of the republic we have implemented."
