Comedian Kim Miryeo (42) revealed that she was scammed by an acquaintance in the past and was even blackmailed with photos of her chest.

Kim Miryeo confessed this on the KBS 2TV variety show "Park Wonsook's Let's Live Together" Season 3, which aired on the 17th. Kim Miryeo began by saying, "During the peak of my career with my comedy corner, I lost all my money because I was scammed by an acquaintance."

She said, "The loan shark advertisement I filmed at the time was also embezzled by that acquaintance," adding, "They caused a rift in the middle, conspired, and embezzled it. I was naive and got scammed," she lamented. She continued, "I only found out later that I was scammed. I was cursed at, didn’t get paid much for appearances, and was cursed at a lot," she complained.

In particular, Kim Miryeo shocked viewers by revealing that she was even blackmailed with secretly taken photos of her chest. Kim Miryeo said, "There were photos taken of my chest," and added, "At the time, the acquaintance suddenly asked if I wanted to get breast reduction surgery." She explained the situation, saying, "They said let's go to the hospital to get an estimate, so I went with them to the hospital, and the photos were taken when I undressed."

Kim Miryeo said, "The acquaintance who was driving showed me the photos. I immediately told them to delete them, and it passed. But that person took all my money," and added, "If I asked for money, they said they took the photos to blackmail me with." This revelation was shocking. She said, "Even then, I wasn’t paid, but I was kind and was used like a fool," evoking sympathy.

Kim Miryeo debuted in 2006 as a comedian through MBC’s special recruitment. She gained great popularity by playing the role of the madam in the comedy corner "Samonim" on Gag Concert, popularizing the catchphrase "Kim Gisa~." She married actor Jung Sungyun in 2013 and has one son and one daughter.
