Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation (President Kim Nam-il) announced that it is recruiting participants for the 2024 ‘Gyeongbuk Northern Region Tourism Business Capacity Building Consulting’ for tourism businesses scattered across 11 cities and counties in the northern region until the 28th.
This consulting program is designed to strengthen the competitiveness of the tourism industry in the northern region of Gyeongbuk and revitalize the local economy. Professional consultants will visit the sites directly to provide customized consulting services.
The program targets tourism-related businesses located in 11 cities and counties in northern Gyeongbuk, including Andong, Yeongju, Mungyeong, Sangju, Yecheon, Uiseong, Cheongsong, Yeongdeok, Uljin, Yeongyang, and Bonghwa. Businesses related to food and beverage, accommodation, and tourism are eligible to apply, and a total of 60 businesses will be selected.
Selected businesses will receive customized consulting from professional consultants who will visit the sites at least three times to provide support in management improvement, sales growth strategy development, marketing capacity enhancement, effective business promotion methods, and online marketing strategies.
Additionally, the program includes comprehensive content aimed at practically strengthening the competitiveness of tourism businesses, such as tax and labor management, hygiene and facility improvements, service quality enhancement, and participation plans for government-supported projects in 2025.
The application period is until the 28th. Businesses wishing to participate can apply via the Google Form QR code or submit the application form by email (shjh3190@biznium.net). Final selection will be made through document screening followed by presentation evaluation.
President Kim Nam-il stated, "Through this consulting, we expect to respond to changing tourism trends and significantly strengthen the competitiveness of local tourism businesses," adding, "We will continue to prepare various support measures for the development of the regional tourism industry."
