Gyeonggi Fire Department Holds 3rd Phase Promotion Meeting for Complex Office Building... Completion by April Next Year

Gyeonggi Fire Department Holds 3rd Phase Promotion Meeting for Complex Office Building... Completion by April Next Year Cho Sun-ho, Head of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, is presiding over a progress report meeting on the construction of the Fire Safety Complex Building on the 17th.

On the 17th, the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters held a progress report meeting for the '3rd Phase of the Fire Safety Complex Building Construction' in the video conference room on the 4th floor of the government building.

The meeting proceeded with an overall project explanation of the 3rd phase, followed by thematic project presentations on the History Archive, Haetae Park, Trauma Management Center, Safety Experience Center, and the 119 Integrated Situation Room.

The Fire and Disaster Headquarters had previously relocated on the 9th of last month to the 'Gyeonggi-do Fire Safety Maru,' a fire safety complex building established in the former Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly building in Paldal-gu, Suwon City.

Currently, only the 1st phase of the relocation project has been completed.

For the 2nd phase, the Fire and Disaster Headquarters plans to promote the construction of the Safety Experience Center, History Archive, Trauma Management Center, and Haetae Park by April next year.

Additionally, as part of the 3rd phase, after completing the groundwork for relocating the Safety Control Center, the 119 Integrated Situation Room, by April next year, the system stabilization is scheduled to be finalized by September.

Once the 3rd phase construction project is completed and the complex building opens, it is expected to accommodate about 500 on-site staff members and attract approximately 50,000 visitors annually, which the Fire and Disaster Headquarters anticipates will also help revitalize the local economy.

Cho Sun-ho, head of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, promised, "We will do our best to ensure that the construction of the Fire Safety Complex Building, which is an opportunity to dramatically raise the level of safety culture for residents, proceeds without any setbacks until the very end."

He especially emphasized, "The Fire Safety Complex Building, which consolidates the Fire and Disaster Headquarters, History Archive, Trauma Management Center, and Safety Experience Center in one place, is the first of its kind nationwide," and asked for the residents' special interest and support.
