Gwangju Volunteer Center, Ganggangjuwoolrae4 Pet Plogging with Companion Dogs The Gwangju Volunteer Center held a Pet Plogging event with Ganggangjuwoolrae4 and their dogs at Cheongseok Park on the 17th.

The Gwangju Volunteer Center (Chairman Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 18th that it held the 'Ganggangjuwullae 4 Pet Plogging with Companion Dogs' (hereinafter referred to as Pet Plogging) at Cheongseok Park on the 17th.

Pet Plogging is an environmental cleanup activity where participants pick up trash while walking with their companion dogs. This program also included walking training to help companion dogs follow their owners' commands outdoors.

The Gwangju Volunteer Center expects this activity to promote carbon-neutral efforts by encouraging voluntary environmental cleanup during daily walks with companion dogs. They plan to develop and offer various programs that allow many citizens to easily engage in and continuously practice climate crisis response activities.

Additionally, the Gwangju Volunteer Center is conducting the Green Whale Campaign and Paper Pack Special Forces project as non-face-to-face environmental volunteer activities until the end of the year. More details can be found on the center's website.
