SM Entertainment 'Naibis' Concept Photo Booth Held
LG Uplus is participating in Korea's largest design festival together with SM Entertainment's virtual artist 'nævis'.

On the 18th, LG Uplus announced that it had set up an experience zone where visitors could try its self-developed artificial intelligence (AI) technology 'ixi' at 'Seoul Design 2024' held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul. The event will run until the 27th.
Seoul Design 2024 is an event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and organized by the Seoul Design Foundation, showcasing Seoul's design trends.
At the event, LG Uplus operates an experience zone consisting of ▲ 'ixi Photobooth,' which converts photos into AI photos matching a concept, and ▲ 'ixi Prompt,' where participants can create smartphone wallpapers by inputting AI prompts (generative AI commands).
The photobooth features the concept of 'nævis.' Participants can experience photos taken side-by-side with nævis and AI profile pictures transformed with the nævis concept. Nævis is SM Entertainment's first virtual artist appointed as the ambassador for the Seoul Design Festival.
LG Uplus has formed an AI-based content development partnership with SM Entertainment and is producing AI content featuring nævis.
Kim Hee-jin, head of LG Uplus's Integrated Brand Marketing Team, said, "The nævis photobooth, created through collaboration with SM Entertainment, is the core of this experience zone," adding, "We will continue to create opportunities for various companies to easily and enjoyably experience AI in the future."
