Provincial News Delivered Through 8 Channels
Chungnam Province announced on the 17th that it has received the Excellence Award in the metropolitan government category at the Korea SNS Awards, hosted by the Korea Social Content Promotion Association.
The province has firmly maintained its position as the king of online communication in Korea, winning the award for eight consecutive years since 2017.
The province delivers news about its administration through eight social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and KakaoTalk. The total number of subscribers across these eight channels has reached approximately 440,000, an increase of about 100,000 compared to last year.
A Reels video introducing the 'four-day workweek' surpassed 3.6 million views, and 'Chungnam Sikgaek,' featuring artist Heo Youngman, also received a great response.
The province plans to continue attracting residents' interest through a variety of events and participatory content.
A provincial official said, "I believe our proactive administration, prioritizing communication with residents, led to this award," adding, "We will continue to widely promote Chungnam's diverse news and attractions through social media to ensure the success of the Chungnam Visit Year."
