Handonghun "By-election, a chance for party and government reform... We will not miss this valuable opportunity"

Han Dong-hoon, leader of the People Power Party, said regarding the results of the October 16 by-elections, "We will lead change and reform of the government and ruling party according to the will of the people."

On the same day, Han stated through social media (SNS), "I consider this an opportunity given to the People Power Party and the government to change and reform," adding, "We will not miss this precious opportunity given in difficult circumstances."

He said, "I and the party will be the first to change and reform."

He also expressed gratitude, saying, "I thank the sovereign citizens who chose the People Power Party in Geumjeong, Busan; Ganghwa, Incheon; and Gokseong, Jeollanam-do," and added, "We will deeply reflect on the hearts of the sovereign citizens who did not choose the People Power Party."

The People Power Party won in Geumjeong District, Busan, and Ganghwa County, Incheon, which were considered strongholds in this by-election.
