On the 16th, the Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul announced that the report concerning the leak incident during the Yonsei University early admission essay exam was transferred to the Public Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Yonsei University filed a complaint with the Seodaemun Police Station against those who photographed and posted the early admission essay exam questions online the previous afternoon, accusing them of obstructing business. The accused include one person each from the humanities and natural sciences leak cases, as well as four unidentified individuals, totaling six people.

On the 12th, during the 2025 academic year early admission natural sciences essay exam held at Yonsei University Sinchon Campus in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, the exam papers were distributed around 12:55 PM, about one hour earlier than the scheduled start time of 2:00 PM. The proctor at the exam site recognized the mistake and collected the exam papers at 1:10 PM, 15 minutes later, but controversy arose as claims surfaced that some photos of the exam papers had been leaked online.

Meanwhile, on the afternoon of the 16th, Yonsei University submitted an additional complaint to the Public Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, requesting proof of whether the fairness of the exam was compromised. Yonsei University plans to form a fact-finding committee at the university headquarters level to investigate the related matters.
