Golf Rounds Planned During National Assembly Audit Period Revealed Through Media Reports
The Democratic Party of Korea on the 16th issued a 'stern warning' to Representative Min Hyung-bae regarding reports that he scheduled a golf round during the National Assembly audit period, and instructed that he be referred to the Ethics Tribunal for investigation.
In a notice released that day, the Democratic Party stated, "Regarding the reports that Representative Min scheduled a golf round during the National Assembly audit period, Leader Lee gave Min Hyung-bae a stern warning and instructed that he be referred to the Ethics Tribunal for investigation."
According to reports from OhmyNews and others, Representative Min is known to have played golf twice with executives from large corporations in the region during the National Assembly audit period and the by-elections in Yeonggwang and Gokseong, Jeonnam.
Additionally, it was further reported that he organized weekend golf meetings with acquaintances during the audit period.
