Namyangju City Provides Special Space for Young Study Cafeteria Users and Freelancers

Where Youth Blooms, Adding Emotion to Cheongnyeon Kkotgan

Namyangju City Provides Special Space for Young Study Cafeteria Users and Freelancers 'Cheongnyeon Kkotgan' poster.

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) newly and diversely improved the space exclusively for youth, ‘Cheongnyeon Kkotgan,’ located on the 3rd floor of the Hopyeong-dong Youth Startup Center on the 16th.

Earlier, since May, the city had established ‘Cheongnyeon Kkotgan’ at the Youth Startup Center, creating convenient spaces such as the ‘Youth Information Soksok Information Center,’ ‘Youth Amalhaebasori Zone,’ and ‘Shared Stationery Store,’ and has been operating various cultural programs.

Through this improvement project, the city prepared spaces for music listening, study, and goods, allowing young people to enjoy LP records on a turntable, study in a fully equipped learning environment with free Wi-Fi and power outlets, and view and purchase Namyangju City goods.

In particular, ‘Cheongnyeon Kkotgan’ has added a cozy and vintage atmosphere, which is expected to greatly help young people such as job seekers, civil service exam candidates, and freelancers who need free spaces for study, work, and rest.

Park Mi-kyung, head of the Youth Policy Division, said, “As employment difficulties and high prices continue, the demand for free and freely accessible spaces for youth is increasing.” She added, “We enhanced not only practicality but also comfort so that young people can visit anytime comfortably.”

‘Cheongnyeon Kkotgan’ is freely available to any youth of Namyangju City, operating from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and is closed on Mondays.
