November 8 at Ilsanseo-gu Office Gawaji Auditorium... Exploring the Future of Goyang City's Furniture Industry
The Goyang City Ilsan Furniture Cooperative (Chairman: Kang Jeom-hee) announced on the 16th that, with the support of Goyang Special City, it will hold a "Goyang Furniture Complex Development Project Seminar" on November 8th from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Kawaji-daegang Auditorium in Ilsan Seo-gu Office.
This seminar is organized to gather opinions from experts and citizens from various fields, including furniture industry entrepreneurs, politicians, furniture design professors, and officials from related departments, to strengthen the domestic and international competitiveness of Goyang Special City's furniture industry.
The seminar will analyze the current status and issues of Goyang Special City's furniture industry and explore development plans through the establishment of the Goyang Furniture Complex. Additionally, under the subtitle "Smart Furniture City Created Together with Local Residents," short- and mid-to-long-term implementation plans will be presented and discussed.
Key topics will include the digitalization and automation of the furniture industry, fostering the smart furniture industry, eco-friendly furniture design education, and the introduction of a furniture salesperson certification system.
A representative of the Ilsan Furniture Cooperative stated, "The establishment of the Goyang Furniture Complex is a project that goes beyond simply constructing a furniture complex; it aims to revitalize the local economy as a hub of the smart furniture industry and develop into a future-oriented city." They added, "If the Goyang Furniture Complex is successfully built, it will be able to play various roles in revitalizing the local economy, which will be confirmed through the seminar. We ask for the active interest and participation of all citizens."
