HiM Solutec Breaks Through 6,000 On-Site Maintenance Cases for LG System Air Conditioners

Maintenance Contract Renewal Rate Records 87%

Hi-EM Solutec, a subsidiary of LG Electronics specializing in HVAC maintenance, announced on the 16th that it has surpassed 6,000 system air conditioner maintenance contracts as of September.

The number of system air conditioner maintenance contracts represents a 15% increase compared to last year. Hi-EM Solutec analyzed that record-breaking heatwaves, rising energy costs, and increased customer awareness of the need for maintenance have contributed to the growing demand for maintenance services.

In particular, the number of tropical nights this year reached 23.9 days as of last September, breaking the highest record in the past decade, highlighting not only the importance of air conditioners but also the necessity of maintenance to prevent sudden breakdowns. Industrial electricity rates also rose by 62.8% as of November last year compared to 2021, increasing demand for both breakdown prevention and energy savings.

In response to these changes, Hi-EM Solutec continues to strengthen its TMS (Total Maintenance Service), which monitors the operating status and fault detection of system air conditioners in real time based on big data. Especially, the AI fault prediction service introduced this year predicts faults in advance using big data when abnormal signals are detected in system air conditioners. The AI fault prediction service helps ensure smooth product use even during peak summer seasons with high usage and contributes to improving operational efficiency by preventing failures of key components.

Additionally, the energy-saving service automatically controls inefficient operation while continuously using LG system air conditioners, maintaining indoor comfort and reducing electricity bills. This service meets the cost-saving demands of companies facing sharply increased electricity rates recently.

Hi-EM Solutec offers the 'Dr. Whisen Maintenance Package,' a customer-tailored product optimized for industry-specific characteristics and product usage periods, providing customized services. Alongside this, the company is continuously expanding its nationwide service center network to minimize damage from sudden breakdowns and establish a rapid response support system.

The enhancement of Hi-EM Solutec’s service quality is reflected in its high contract renewal rate. As of September this year, the maintenance contract renewal rate stands at 87%, demonstrating high customer satisfaction.
