Samsung Electronics announced on the 16th that it will launch the AI PC 'Galaxy Book5 Pro 360' in Korea on the 28th.
The product comes in a single size of 40.6 cm (16-inch) and is available in two colors: Gray and Silver. It will be released in two models priced at 2,426,000 KRW and 2,576,000 KRW, depending on detailed specifications such as processor and memory.
The 'Galaxy Book5 Pro 360' is a Copilot Plus PC equipped with the 'Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 2 (Lunar Lake).' It supports up to 47 TOPS (47 trillion operations per second) of neural processing unit (NPU) performance.
By connecting a Galaxy smartphone using Microsoft's (MS) 'Phone Link' feature, users can access 'Galaxy AI' functions supported on the smartphone, such as Circle to Search, Note Assist, and real-time translation, directly on the PC. Future updates will also support MS's 'Copilot Plus PC' AI features.
The device features a high-resolution Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Vision Booster, supporting 3K-level high resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, providing a clear screen experience.
It adopts a 2-in-1 convertible design with a 360-degree rotatable display, allowing use in laptop mode, tablet mode, and more. An S Pen is also included.
The battery supports up to 25 hours of video playback, and it is equipped with four speakers featuring Dolby Atmos and a larger woofer to deliver immersive sound.
Samsung Electronics will offer a Nakedness brand pouch, MS365 Personal, and a 12-month Samsung Care+ subscription as gifts for purchases made from the 28th to the 3rd of next month.
Additionally, the company provides the document work software package 'Hancom Samsung Office Pack' and a one-year free subscription to 'Samsung Edu,' which offers online educational content in various fields such as language, college entrance exams, certifications, and AI.
Other partnership content benefits supporting learning and creative activities include a NoteShelf subscription, a one-year Goodnotes subscription, a two-month Yesform membership, a 60-day Yes24 Crema Club subscription, and a three-month 50% discount coupon for Naver Vibe.
From the 17th to the 27th, participants in the launch notification application promotion on Samsung.com will receive an additional 'Naver Pay Point Coupon worth 30,000 KRW.'
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics will operate the 'Switch to Galaxy AI PC Compensation' program from the 28th to December 31st, offering up to 250,000 KRW additional compensation when customers trade in their existing laptops upon purchasing the 'Galaxy Book5 Pro 360.' Detailed information is available on Samsung.com, and laptops from brands other than Samsung Electronics are also eligible.
