31 Industry-Academia-Research Project Planning Experts Gather in One Place
CEO Jo Young-tak Presents "AI, Leadership" as Key Topics in Corporate Education
HUNET held the ‘HUNET CEO Forum ? Foresight Korea 2025,’ where industry-academia-research business planning experts forecasted the coming year, on the 16th at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas.
This event, introduced by HUNET for the first time this year, was designed to provide various insights necessary for establishing next year’s management strategies to CEOs and business planning personnel of companies.
Professor Song Jae-yong of Seoul National University Business School, who delivered the keynote speech, identified the paradigms that must be understood for business strategy formulation in 2025 as ▲AI revolution ▲entrenchment of low growth trends in domestic and international economies and slowdown in major countries’ economies ▲heightened geopolitical risks and a major global supply chain transformation.
Professor Song emphasized, “The economic environment at home and abroad is highly uncertain due to wars in several countries, the U.S. presidential election, and a global economic recession. Therefore, companies must prepare multiple scenarios and response strategies in advance according to the anticipated external environment when planning their business strategies.”
The event featured 30 lectures across five fields: management, economy, trends, HR, and AI. Attendees moved between tracks to find lectures matching their interests. Particularly popular were the latest lectures forecasting 2025, such as ‘Government Budget and Economic Policy,’ ‘Domestic and International Monetary Policy,’ ‘Korean Consumer Keywords,’ ‘Global HR Trends,’ and ‘Prospects and Globalization Potential of Korea’s AI Industry.’
The forum was held both on-site and via live streaming simultaneously, with about 1,000 participants attending online and offline.
Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch of ‘Foresight Korea,’ HUNET CEO Cho Young-tak and Seoul National University Professor Song Jae-yong held a press conference.
CEO Cho Young-tak explained, “In an era of high uncertainty, the gap between companies is widening, and companies that survive crises are those whose managers and leaders have the ability to predict and respond to the future. As a leading company in corporate education, HUNET recognized the need for education specialized in business planning, which is the most important decision-making matter for companies, and thus planned this event.”
Additionally, CEO Cho presented ▲AI powered learning ▲leadership as key topics in corporate education for 2025. He said, “HUNET plans to complete a total leadership solution by rank and further strengthen customized AI education by job function. We ask for your great expectations as AI-based education solutions, learning management systems, and humanities education programs are scheduled to be launched.”
