A man caused a disturbance at a bank, kicking over flowerpots and breaking the door after being dissatisfied with the staff's service, then fled but was eventually arrested. On the 16th, a video titled "Real-life Choi Min-sik Legend Appearance" uploaded on the National Police Agency's YouTube channel on the 11th spread widely on online communities and social media (SNS).

In the video, a man identified as Mr. A visited a bank in Geoje-si, Gyeongnam Province, took a number ticket, and requested a passbook inquiry at the counter. However, without even providing his account number, he pressured the staff to hurry up with the inquiry. Although the bank employee responded properly, he continued to express dissatisfaction and eventually abruptly stood up and left.
Mr. A then said, "Should I kill someone today?" and began causing a serious disturbance. He threw a stone he brought at the bank's entrance door and kicked the door himself. He also kicked over several flowerpots placed in front of the entrance. After causing a commotion for some time, a metal structure above the entrance door even fell down. The employees were startled but quickly reported the incident to the police.
Suddenly, Mr. A ran outside, and a bank employee followed him and informed the responding police officers of his escape route. Eventually, the police found Mr. A hiding at a motel counter. Mr. A resisted by swinging a pipe at the police but was ultimately arrested on the spot.
During the arrest, Mr. A imitated lines from the movie Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time. He verbally abused the officers, saying, "You son of a b****, which department are you from?" "Your chief lives in Namcheon-dong," "I ate with your chief, you bastard, we even went to the sauna together." The police sent Mr. A to the prosecution on charges including property damage and obstruction of business.
Netizens who saw the video reacted with comments such as, "I suspect he caused the disturbance just to imitate movie lines from the start," "The reckless behavior of the customer must have caused significant mental shock to the employees," and "He seems like someone who cannot distinguish between reality and movies."
