Discussion on Recent Key Issues Including Gyoeoseon Preliminary Measures and Road and Pavement Painting

The Gyeonggi-do Northern Autonomous Police Committee held the 9th Working Council on the 15th in the committee meeting room, attended by officials from the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency, Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, and members of the policy advisory group.

On the 15th, the Gyeonggi-do Northern Autonomous Police Committee held the 9th Working Council meeting at the committee's conference room located in Uijeongbu, with attendees including officials from the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency, Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, and members of the policy advisory group.

The main agenda items of the Working Council included ▲ cooperation for the establishment of the 360° Smart Video Center ▲ collaboration on preventing deepfake crimes and other recent social issues related to resident safety measures ▲ preemptive measures for the operation of the Gyoeoseon Line ▲ inspection and cooperation regarding road (potholes, etc.) and pavement painting to secure traffic safety, and other cooperation plans among related agencies.

The key agencies attending the Working Council shared information and agreed to strive to protect residents' safety and socially vulnerable groups by establishing a smooth collaborative system.

To minimize blind spots and secure response capabilities for disasters occurring in urban areas, they agreed on establishing the Gyeonggi-do 360° Smart Video Center and strengthening activities to prevent the increasing crimes involving false sexual videos.

Additionally, they shared the necessity of joint inspections of the Gyoeoseon Line and cooperation in road and pavement painting maintenance to improve residents' transportation convenience and prevent accident risk factors in advance.

Lee Kyung-ja, Secretary General of the Gyeonggi-do Northern Autonomous Police Committee, stated, “Issues like deepfake are social problems that are difficult for individual agencies to handle. We will establish a close cooperative system among related agencies and create a forum for discussion to respond thoroughly.”

Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi-do Northern Autonomous Police Committee Working Council is a legal consultative body formed to cooperate and coordinate autonomous police affairs, hosted by the Gyeonggi-do Northern Autonomous Police Committee and operated quarterly.
