Kakao Launches Emoticon Unlimited Pass Lottery Event... Open to All KakaoTalk Users

Kakao announced on the 15th that it will hold the 'Emoticon Unlimited Pass Lottery Event' for about two weeks starting from the 15th of this month.

Any KakaoTalk user can participate in this event. All participants will receive one of five types of free Kakao Emoticon Plus passes: 3-day, 7-day, 14-day, 1-month, or 1-year passes.

Users can join the event by clicking the 'Press to Draw' button on the event page. Simply participating guarantees a 100% chance of receiving an Emoticon Plus pass, which can be immediately applied by clicking the 'Use' button.

Jo Yeon-ju, Kakao Emoticon Business Marketing Leader, said, "We prepared this event so that more users can meet and experience various emoticons within KakaoTalk," adding, "We will continue to introduce quality events to provide users with the joy of using emoticons and creators with opportunities to expand the ecosystem."

Meanwhile, Emoticon Plus is gaining popularity for its unique features, such as unlimited use of various emoticons and automatic recommendations of emoticons that fit the context of conversations. In particular, users’ interest in Emoticon Plus is increasing as emoticons can now be freely used within KakaoTalk’s Pung and profile decoration features.
