iPhone 16 Pro Max Ranks 3rd
Samsung Electronics' AI phone, the 'Galaxy S24 Ultra,' maintained its number one position in the smartphone rankings by a U.S. consumer magazine even after the release of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
According to industry sources on the 15th, the Galaxy S24 Ultra scored a total of 87 points in the smartphone rankings announced by the U.S. consumer magazine Consumer Reports, maintaining its first place. The iPhone 15 Pro Max also tied for first place.
This smartphone ranking was announced after the release of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. In the rankings released in March, the Galaxy S24 also ranked first with a total score of 87 points.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max scored 86 points, ranking third, while the Galaxy S24 Plus scored 85 points, ranking fourth.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra received the highest score of 5 points in eight of Consumer Reports' ten evaluation categories, including reliability, satisfaction, camera, display, durability, performance, sound, ease of use, and call quality.
On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Pro Max received 4 points in ease of use and call quality, resulting in a total score one point lower than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Consumer Reports evaluated, "The Galaxy S24 Ultra is a fantastic option for most consumers who want premium features." It added, "Overall, it excels with a brighter display, advanced processor and camera, and improved battery life, but the most attractive features are the Galaxy AI functions such as 'real-time translation,' 'Circle to Search,' and 'AI editing.' These are practical and quite impressive."
Consumer Reports is the largest monthly consumer goods magazine published by the U.S. Consumer Federation. It provides consumers with monthly comparisons of performance and prices by manufacturer for consumer goods. It operates solely on membership fees, donations, and magazine sales revenue, which contributes to its high consumer trust.
